Accessible Café Tour of Aberdeen : Accessible Café edition : Cult of Coffee
After my unsuccessful attempt at finding cafés in my first week- I found some amazing ones the following week, thanks to some informative responses to my instagram story - appealing to my friends for accessible café recommendations. I phoned ahead to check the accessibility of the cafés and I was delighted to arrive and find my expectations were a reality! I really enjoyed my visit and felt very accepted. First up is the Cult of Coffee : located 28 Esslemount avenue, Aberdeen Parking was easy, I was able to park right outside the shop, if those spaces weren't available there were a lot in neighbouring streets. They had level access into the café and a wide door frame, so larger chairs would manage to enter with ease. There were many tables to choose from- all of which are accessible, with easy transfer from wheelchair to your seat of choice. There were also 4 tables to choose from outside.
